The founding partner of the firm, Mr. LoRicco has been practicing law in the State of Connecticut since 1956, when he graduated from Georgetown University School of Law. He graduated from Providence College in 1953. He was born and raised in the City of New Haven. Mr. LoRicco regularly practices in state and federal courts in the fields of civil litigation, business litigation, and professional malpractice litigation. He has an extensive practice in the area of both residential and commercial real estate development and management. Mr. LoRicco was instrumental in the development of the ground lease concept for condominium development, as well as "air right" development rights in the State of Connecticut. He is also admitted to practice in United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is a member of the American, Connecticut and New Haven Bar Associations, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.
Commissioner Marcarelli first joined the firm in 1989 and left it to become Chief Counsel to the Connecticut Commissioner of Consumer Protection and Chief Hearing Officer of the State Liquor Commission. He was later named Workers' Compensation Commissioner and, upon retirement, returned to the firm, of counsel. He is an alumnus of the Georgetown Law Center and the University of Bridgeport Law School. Prior to his legal studies, he had received an A.B. from Fairfield University, an M.A from Middlebury College and an M.Phil. and Ph.D from Yale University. He served in the Office of International Affairs of HUD, as consultant to the U.S Department of State, as Senior Advisor to the Director of ACTION, and as Counsel to the Connecticut Republican Party, and has taught at various colleges and universities, both in the U.S. and in Europe. Because of his long history of involvement and leadership in various civic, charitable and cultural activities over the years, he has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors.
Mr. LoRicco graduated from Notre Dame High School in West Haven, Connecticut. Thereafter, he attended and graduated from Fordham University in 1983 and received a Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac College School of Law, formerly known as the University of Bridgeport, School of Law, in 1986, when he became affiliated with the firm.
Mr. LoRicco's practice is concentrated to the areas of civil litigation, business litigation, transactional law, real estate and landlord tenant practice and litigation. He has experience as an arbitrator. He regularly practices in state and federal courts.
He is a member of the American, Connecticut, and New Haven Bar Associations, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. LoRicco presently serves several organizations, including, St. Francis Home for Children, Inc., as a Finance Committee member and is a past member of it's Board of Trustees where he served as the Board's Chairperson, and he serves on the Board of Trustees for the Benedictines of Jesus Crucified. He is a Member of the Woodbridge Volunteer Fire Association, is a certified Fire Firefighter II, EMT-B and serves as the Association's Legal Counsel. Mr. LoRicco is also a committee member of The Friends of Jimmy Miller, Inc., a charitable organization involving in local fundraising for children in need.
Mr. Trotta attended Western New England College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Thereafter, he earned his Juris Doctorate from The University of Bridgeport School of Law, in 1986, now known as Quinnipiac College School of Law.
His practice is focused in the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury. He is a member in good standing of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association, The American Trial Lawyers Association, The American Association for Justice, Defense Research Institute and is an Associate of the National College of Advocacy. He has been awarded the Alumnus of the Year from St. Bernadette's School and the Distinguished Service Award from the Western New England College. He is a member of Who's Who in practicing Attorneys, and since 2007 has been named to both Super Lawyers® and has been voted as one of the Top Attorneys in Connecticut.
On a personal note, he is an active resident of the Town of Guilford, serving on several community-based committees including the Guilford Police Commission and the Guilford Fire Commission. Mr. Trotta is a member of the Connecticut State Police Commissioners Association. He participates in and supports the work of various non-profit organizations, benefiting the health, safety and well-being of the youth and citizens of our communities.

Mr. LoRicco presently serves several organizations. He supports the Board of the Jimmy Fund in its fund raising efforts. The Jimmy Fund is a local charitable organization providing assistance to families who have children suffering from cancer. He is also as avid supporter of Juvenile Diabetes organization and the Yale New Haven Children's Hospital.
Mr. Leventhal earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Southern New Hampshire and thereafter, an MBA from the University of New Haven. Mr. Leventhal then received his Law Degree from Quinnipiac University and was recognized with admission into the Honor Fraternity of Phi Delta Phi. Prior to joining LoRicco, Trotta and LoRicco, Mr. Leventhal worked for the City of New Haven Office of Corporation Counsel, the Appellate Division of the Chief Public Defender's Office for the State of Connecticut and in the field of Medical Management. Mr. Leventhal has business experience in both the medical and property management fields and has argued before the Appellate Court for the state of Connecticut. In the community, Mr. Leventhal has served on the Board of Directors for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation of South Central Connecticut, has coached Little League Baseball in his hometown of Cheshire and presently serves on the Membership Committee for the New Haven County Bar Association.
Ms. Tung graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1991. She further received a Juris Doctor Degree from University of Connecticut School of Law in 1994. Prior to joining LoRicco Trotta & LoRicco, Ms. Tung area of practice focused on insurance defense litigation. She was a senior trial attorney with Allstate Insurance Company and Safeco Insurance Company where she tried numerous cases to verdict.
Ms. Tung is admitted to practice in both the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and New York. She is a member of American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association. She serves as a Court appointed arbitrator for Middletown Superior Court, Milford Superior Court and Bridgeport Superior Court.
Ms. Tung is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. She was a Visiting Scholar at East China University of Politics and Law in Shanghai China from 2007-2008 where she taught American Law to Ph.D candidates and Master Degree students of the University. She also served as the Chairperson of the Parents Friends Association of the British International School of Shanghai where she organized and raised money for various charities such as the Chi Heng Foundation which provides educational needs for children affected by AIDS.
Ms. Tung is currently serving as the President of the National Association of Asian American Professionals of Connecticut (a non-profit organization that cultivates, supports and promotes Asian American leaders). She is an active member of the Cheshire Junior Women Club ( sponsors community projects for the battered women shelter and food pantry donations) and Dress for Success (promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire and career development tools).
